FOSTER

On the fence about Fostering?

"I would rather cry watching them leave our home to live a life of happiness and joy in a loving home than cry because no one stepped up to help them and they died alone, frightened and sad in the shelter."

Fostering saves lives.  Try It!

Fostering a rescue dog is very similar to adopting a rescue dog with the exception of its permanent nature.  It is so important that each and every household member be as excited as you are about this decision.

Carefully review our Foster Home Agreement (click here to view).  Applicants must be able to abide by the Terms & Conditions set forth in that agreement.  Fostering family will be required to sign a copy of the Foster Home Agreement. Please complete the Foster Application below and hit the submit button to complete your request. You may also  to request a form be mailed to you so that you can fax, scan, or mail this form to:

If renting we will contact your landlord to ask if a dog in your home is acceptable. You will not be able to foster until we receive positive information?

If you do not have children living in the home, (ie. grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbors, etc.)

If Yes, please give your vet a call a to grant them permission to speak with a representative from RFSTL.

All adopted Retriever & Friends dogs/puppies must be supervised at all times when outdoor.

RFSTL's policy is - that an adopted dog must never be off leash except in a securely fenced area.
